“We have an idea, let’s make it a Modern Cafe Racer’. And that’s how the build started. From a sport fairing ornament, the 2015 Yamaha YZF-R25 was changed into the impressive piece of machinery you see before you today. Built over the course of two weeks, using original parts from the bike and anything else that fell to hand in the workshop, it was a success attempt to enter the new look and it has to be different. Thanks to God, this bike is proof that you don’t need a lot of money or time to build a unique custom motorcycle – a six bottles of beer helps though.

Starting with the frame, we customized an original Yamaha YZF-R25 sub frame to make way for flat frame, custom version we designed and built, scaled with only a single rider in mind. After the frame was done the body’s hand formed custom tank and side cover are made from 1.2 mm galvanized plate and the beautifully finished seat was covered in the house. The shinny red with gradation between light and dark were done by our good partner, Komet Studio. At the side tank we put an event logo based on our customer’s brief. Look at the cowl side!!! a unique hornet, used 22 mm seamless pipe and we made with a goal to showing a something different . The stock handlebar were removed to fit aftermarket clip on handlebar. The original rims were then treated to a set of Metzeler Roadtec 120/70-17 and 150/70-17 for front and rear. As well as we released 2 in 1 custom exhaust system, vintage style reverse megaphone muffler.

Proud to build this bike, probably this is the second times we converted Yamaha YZF-R25 with a new style. Only two weeks for time work and this is the result! So…please welcome our new build, and we called this bike BANASPATI.
